This past month The Butterflies had a blast learning about space.
We made alien slime out of school glue, food coloring, and borax.
バタフライズクラスでは今月のテーマである宇宙についていろいろなアクティビティをしました。 そのうちの一つがスライム作りです。
糊と食紅とホウ酸を使ってみんなでスライムを作りました。 また作ったスライムでエイリアンを作りました。



We each choose a color to make our slime.
"May I have red?"
まずは色選びからです。それぞれ好きな色を選んでスライムを作りました。






We then mixed the food coloring into the glue. Mix mix...
色を選んだら、糊に食紅をまぜていきます。 まぜ、まぜ、まぜ、まぜ、こぼさないようにね。




We then added the glue into the bowl of borax.
次はホウ酸を入れたボウルに糊を入れます。 さらにまぜまぜ、まぜます。





I think the Butterflies had the best time kneeding the slime together!
"It is really sticky!"
最後は弾力がでるまでこねます。 スライムをみんなでコネコネする作業をこども達はとっても楽しんでいました。
最初はベタベタするけど、だんだんまとまってきて、ぼよーんぼよんと弾力がでてきます。






We then added wigly eyes to our slime... and here is what they looked like when we finished.
Alien slime!
動く目をつけてエイリアンの完成です。
にこにこ、スマイルのエイリアンができました。
