The students have been learning about space travel and inventions. We started designing our own space ships.


The students had some great ideas making space ships that were very creative.


We also designed and wrote about our own unique inventions that we would make if we could build anything we want.

This month in Purple Flyers, we're learning about how to "get along in society". This means the children have been discussing ways to help others, keep our community clean, and follow different kinds of rules. To finish up the unit, the students make their own rules posters and presentations. After doing some thinking about what kinds of rules they think are the best, they made their own poster of some chosen rules. They were also given some time to illustrate them.
When they were finished, the students took turns talking about why they chose the rules they wanted to write on their posters, and answer some questions from the other children. It was interesting to hear their reasons for choosing a rule and what kinds of things they decided would happen if no one followed those rules. Good job, Purple Flyers!
