Dolphins ＠高槻茨木校
KA Dolphins wanted to create a house and a car from cardboard boxes! We used a cool toy set called Makedo, that provided us with tools to put it all together.
沢山ある段ボールを使って、クラスで何か作ることにしました！
Students were first explained how to use each tool. They learned what 'hinges' are and what they may be used for. Students then chose what they wanted to make.
最初に段ボールを切ったりつなげたりする道具の使い方を聞き、クラスで何を作るか話し合いました。多数決の結果、家と車を作ることに決定！
The car group knew that a car isn't a car, without wheels. So they firsttook cardboard and drew circles to create the four wheels. This was good forthem to practice drawing large matching shapes.
車のグループは、まずタイヤを作ることにしました。それぞれが段ボールに大きな丸を描き、思い思いの模様を描きました。
KA used a small plastic saw, to cut the cardboard to create the car. Thiswas very good for them to use caution, and work on hand-eye co-ordination.
段ボール用の小さなノコギリで硬い段ボールを上手に切っていきます！1人で切りにくい時は、友達に段ボールを支えてもらいながら協力して作っている姿が見られました。
After cutting and decorating the wheels, they then used a tool to poke holesin the car and wheel, to evenly connect them. They used good team work andverbal communication to each other to complete the t
ask.
段ボールをつなげるプラスチックを上手に使い、タイヤを車体につけます。どこに穴をあけるとタイヤをつけられるのか皆で話し合いながら、ここにつけるとタイヤが浮いてします！ここはタイヤ同士が近すぎる...と、何回も穴をあけ試行錯誤してつけました！
Using their creativity, they decided that the car needed headlights. Usinglarge lids, they colored the lights and attached it to the front of the car.
次に子ども達が思いついたのは、ライト！丸い形の空き箱を探し、車体につけることにしました。
It was a good opportunity for students to learn some vocabulary of theinside of cars, such as this brightly colored 'steering wheel'!
ハンドルも作り、キチンと回るか確かめながらつけました！
While the other group was creating a house, they had to use a lot of teamwork and communication to accomplish it. Here, they are helping each otherconnect a hinge to another box.

ここに窓が欲しい！という子ども達がいたので、鉛筆で窓の絵を描き、先生にも手伝ってもらいながら窓を作りました。さぁ大きな家が出来始めました！

屋根が欲しいという子ども達の提案から、長い段ボールを探し屋根のようにかぶせました。 しかし上手く支えることが出来ず... 出来上がったらまたブログでご紹介しますので、お楽しみに♪
