絵本への興味が高まり始めているペンギンズでは、サマーフェスティバルの収益で沢山の絵本を購入させて頂きました。
For some time now in Penguins we've been very interested in reading picture books by ourselves.
We had a few in our classroom but we wanted to be able to look a many, many books.
With this love in mind we used our profit from the summer festival to buy some books of our very own.





Layn先生が一冊ずつ箱から取り出して紹介していると、箱からどんどんと出てくる本の多さにみんな大興奮で、釘付けになっていました。その後もさっそくそれぞれが気になる絵本を手に取り、絵本タイムが始まり、思い思いに楽しんでいました。

When the books arrived we all sat down on the carpet together.
Each book was taken out if the book one by one so that we could learn about all them.



今では毎朝たくさんの絵本をカーペットに運んで来て読んで楽しむのがペンギンズの日課になっています。
Now we read books everyday.
Sometimes we read them by ourselves, sometimes we read them with our teachers, and sometimes we even read them to each other.
Right now our favorite books are the halloween book and the Thomas books.
