KA Dolphins and Pandas make Oobleck!
Sometimes, the Pandas and Dolphins like to get together for activities. We read Dr. Suess's book, Bartholomew and the Oobleck, and pretended to be the magicians from the book and make our own oobleck!
パンダクラスとドルフィンズクラスは、一緒にアクテビティを行うことがよくあります。みんなはDr.Suessの本を読みました。題名は“Bartholomew and the Oobleck”です。みんな物語の中のマジシャンになりきって、自分自身の“ Oobleck（ウーブレック）”（物語の中に出てくる天から降ってきたどろどろの物体）を作りました。
After choosing our own groups, Brent, Liz and Shiori showed us how to mix our magic ingredients together (cornstarch, water and food coloring) and make the oobleck.
グループ分けの後、ブレント・リズ・しおりが材料（コーンスターチ・水・食用着色料）の混ぜ方を見せてくれました。
The oobleck was a little difficult to stir with craft sticks, but we discovered that using our hands made it much easier. We got very messy, and so did the classroom.
“Oobleck”は、クラフトスティックでかき混ぜるのが難しいな・・・どうしよう・・・そうだ！手を使おう！手も部屋もたくさん汚しましたよ！
The oobleck was very strange. It looked like it was wet, but when we touched it, it felt hard. We could make a ball using our hands, but when we tried to give it to a friend, it melted!
“Oobleck”は、なんだか変な感じだな・・・。固まっているようには見えないけど、触ってみると固いな・・・。ボールも作れたよ！でも、他の子に渡そうとすると溶けちゃった！
The Dolphins and Pandas had a great time playing with the oobleck, and we are looking forward to doing lots more activities together!
とっても楽しい時間だったね！また一緒にいろんな事をしようね！
