Today in gym class the children learned to play a banana / watermelon version of tag.
When the children were tagged by the 'demon' they had to become a banana or watermelon, and the only way they could be saved is if a friend came and peeled the banana (by opening their hands for them) or cutting the watermelon (using their hand as a pretend knife).
今日のジムクラスは【バナナスイカ鬼ごっこ】を楽しみました。
鬼の友達にタッチをされると、バナナかスイカになってしまいます！
腕を上にあげて「バナナ」なら腕を上に長細く、スイカなら丸くして固まります。
鬼以外の友達に、バナナの皮をむいてもらう（皮をむくように手をひろげていく）か、スイカを切ってもらう（手をナイフに見立てて切る）ことでまた復活して鬼から逃げ回ることができるのです。
子どもたちは、バナナやスイカになってしまった友達を一生懸命助けていました。





For craft we talked about the many colourful birds of the amazon rainforest and tried to make one of our own!
今日のクラフトはアマゾンの熱帯雨林に住むたくさんのカラフルな鳥について話しをし、私たち自身の鳥を作りました！



The children had their first day of pool play!
They enjoyed the water on this hot day and there was a lot of laughter and splashing going on!
待ちに待ったプールプレイの初日です！
この暑い日に水遊びを楽しみ、たくさんの笑い声と水しぶきがあがっていました。



In science we learned about how rain is made, and why it's called a 'rainforest'.
Then we did an experiment to make our own rain.
サイエンスクラスでは、どのようにして雨がつくられるのか、またなぜ「熱帯雨林」とよばれるているのかを学び、その後実際に自分たちで雨を作る実験をしました。
子どもたちは興味津々で、張り付くようにして降ってくる雨を眺めていました。
