おはようございます！
7時の起床時間を待ちきれず、とても早起きな子どもたちでした。
部屋の清掃や荷物の整理、着替えをすませた頃にはお腹も減ってきました。
天候にも恵まれているようですし、和朝食の後は外での活動が待っています！


  

クラフト後に休憩がてら散策をし、みんなとってもお腹が減ってきました。
食堂でいろんな食べ物が入ったバランスの良い夕飯を頂きました。
後片付けも率先して行う自立心旺盛なグローバルの子どもたちです。



夕飯後はクラスごとに異なる色の蛍光ブレスレットを付けて、キャンプファイヤー場に集まりました。
３人の先生の弾くギターに合わせ、みんなそれぞれがクラスで練習してきた曲を一緒に唄い盛り上がりました。




お風呂に入った後は寝床を作り、寝る準備を整えます。








今日はどの子もぐっすり眠れることでしょう！  

みんな元気に大阪府立少年自然の家に到着しました。
オリエンテーションでは、施設の方よりルールや布団の敷き方についてお話を頂きました。
子どもたちはしっかり話を聞き、早速デモンストレーションへの参加にたくさんの手が挙がっておりました。
おやつのバナナをいただいた後、着替えをしてゆったりクラフトを行いました。














  

Rika is telling the kids a little about Tanabata and how they can make their wishes. They look pretty excited!
七夕のおはなしを聞いて、この後短冊を書きます！わくわく！



We were the first class to hang the wishes on the bamboo tree, awesome!
笹に短冊を飾りに行きました。ダックスクラスが一番乗りです〜！やったぁ！



On this day, we were designing hats for Tanabata and we really working hard to create a nice clean design.
七夕パーティーでかぶる帽子をデザインしました。



The hats are all done! Don't you think that our girls look really pretty in their newly made Orihime inspired hats?
完成！女の子の帽子は、織り姫をイメージしたデザインで、かわいいですよね？



The kids are working on their crescent moons! They are using paint for the first time. Even though it's the first time, they're doing pretty well, no?
三日月を製作中。このステキな水色は、それぞれ各自で色を混ぜ合わせて作りました。



The kids are using glitter for the first time! It flies all over the classroom, but it's still so pretty.
キラキラのグリッターは、クラスにたくさん飛び散ってしまいましたが、キレイに仕上がりました。

Summer is officially here… and that means it is pool time!
夏がやってきた、という事は・・・プール遊び！！



Shota has been coming around to show us some really fun activities for the kids to play.
It has been a great help in teaching them to work together and find new ways to enjoy the water.
Shotaと一緒に水をつかって色んな遊びをしました。こども達にとってはとっても新鮮で楽しい時間です。



The pool gives us a great way to cool down as the weather continues to get hotter and hotter.



We utilize science to incorporate new and exciting ways to teach the kids about the world around them.
This month we have been working on space – and this week in particular we learned about gravity.
今月は「宇宙」がテーマでした。無重力について学んでいます。



We had 3 different activities that the children were given a chance to attempt to teach them about their own center of gravity.



They tried picking up a cup with their feet and backs against a wall, without bending their knees.
Then they spun around and tried to stand on one foot.
Last they had to try and stand up from a chair without leaning forward.
It was really fun and informative!
コップを膝を曲げずに足と背中を使って持ち上げてみたり、片足でバランスをとってみたり・・・
とっても楽しくて、ちょっと知的になったタイガースのこども達でした。
