Easter Party ＠ 高槻茨木校 "Part Ⅱ"
4月に行われた高槻茨木校、イースターパーティーの第二弾です！
The teachers made a great mixture of games, for both inside and outside, to engaged the children and challenge them in a variety of ways.
この日のために先生たちが準備したゲームで、子どもたちは色んな遊びにチャレンジしました。
We visited Leopards class to toss balls at the bunnies.
他のクラスを回って色んなゲームにチャレンジ・・・Leopardsクラスではうさぎの絵が描かれた箱にボールを投げ入れて遊びました。
In Zebras we got to play ‘Easter bunny, easter bunny, may I cross the field?’ and take turns being a bunny.
Zebraクラスでは、「イースター・バニー、野原を渡ってもいい？」のゲームで楽しく遊んでいます。
The ball pool was fun for all ages.
There were also toy eggs hidden amongst the balls that we tried to find and match.
みんな大好き、ボールでいっぱいのビニールプール！そこに隠された卵型のおもちゃを探して遊びました。

Penguins ＠ 千里山田校
Once a month in Penguins we have begun to do some simple science experiments. This month we learned that plants drink water just like we do. To show this we put some celery into normal water, green water, brown water, and red water.
今日はクラスで実験をしてみました。セロリを初めて見た子も多かったようで「何これ？」と興味津々！それぞれのカップに違う色の食紅を水に溶かすと身を乗り出してカップに注目していました。
Throughout the day we watched as the the celery turned different colors.
いったいどうなっていくのかな？一日中みんな気になって仕方がない様子で何度も何度もカップを見ていました。
By the end of the day we could see where the water the plant had drunk had gone.
ふしぎ～！なんだか葉っぱの色が少し変わってきたみたい！
The red water gave use our best results.
赤い水に入れたセロリが一番大きな変化を見せてくれて、水の通り道がハッキリと分かりました。
We now know that plants need to drink just like we do. Once we plant our tomatoes we will understand why we have to make sure we give them plenty of water to drink.
またみんなで楽しい実験をやってみようね。

Ducks @ 千里山田校
We helped the kids use paste to glue the green background to the milk cartons. The green background is a grassy place for our baby chicks to live in! The kids did a great job even though the glue was really messy.
牛乳パックを使ってイースターバスケットを作りました！
緑は、草むらをイメージしています。
The kids had to use paper of various shapes and sizes. They had to look carefully at each piece to choose the one that fit the side of the milk carton that they needed. Look at them working so hard!
どの大きさ、形をどこに貼るかを、よーく考えています。
Now the kids are trying to make a cute baby chick to live on the nice green grass. This part was a lot harder than it looks because the kids had to carefully place the glue and then the orange beak on top as well. That wasn’t the only part that had to be done. The eyes had to come soon too!
次は、ひよこを作ります！くちばしをのりで貼ったら、目を描きましょう。
These guys started a little bit late but they are doing their best to paste on the grass. Aren’t they so cute?
Finally, the baskets are complete! The little chicks look so comfortable in their new home don’t they? I think the one in the very back might be sleeping. Someone wake him up!
ひよこの表情がみんな違いますね。かわいいバスケットのできあがり〜！

Koalas @ 千里山田校
Our first month together.
At the start o the month we traced each member of our class to use for the monthly theme of All about me.
The class has the job of colouring in their whole body and the features that make them who they are.
新学期になり、まず初めにKoalasが作業したのは「All about me」というテーマに沿って自分自身を書き出す事でした。
We will use these drawing over the next few months for our bodies in circle time and the class will use them for writing by labelling the different parts of the body.
Instead of sitting on the carpet for our counting we play bingo and sing different songs so we do not stay in the one spot for to long.
Our Secret gift craft was a great example of what each student can do. The only part of the craft l helped with was tieing the pipe cleaners together. The special thing was that each basket was unique .

In our brain building time we have been practising with the students pianicas this is both to help with the music but for our class it uses gross and fine motor skills and eye hand coordination.
Musicクラスで使用しているピアニカですが、クラスでは指先を使う練習をするために使っています。

Saturday School @ 千里山田校
Easter Party at Saturday School
We had a great time on Saturday learning about how people celebrate Easter by decorating eggs as well as looking for chocolate eggs in Easter eggs hunts.
まずは、みんなでウォーミングアップをしています。きちんと座って先生に集中してますね！
Everyone was very creative in decorating their Easter eggs during their craft time.
They were amused to see what colors they could make when they mixed they together.
"My egg is colorful! What color is your egg?"
The students were really excited to search for their chocolate eggs in the Easter eggs hunt!
They were all please when they found an egg for themselves.
"I found one! Did you find an egg?
