Christmas Craft @高槻茨木校
短い秋が終わりを見せ始め、冬の寒さが迫ってきた頃、Simon先生は考えていました。
「今年のクリスマスのデコレーション･･･どうしようかな？何かこども達がみんなで楽しめる事をしたいなぁ。
クリスマスといえば･･･そうだ！みんなであれを作ろう!!」
11月25日、その日はやってきました！
「作り方」を説明するサイモン先生、熱が入ります!!
The children listen to Simon very well as he tells them the wonderful things they will do together as a school in our all school craft day.
説明が終わると、みんなお目当てのテーブルへ急ぎます！
何を作るのかな？
Every one runs to their favourite choice of craft, was it the paper chain or the snowmen maybe the Christmas trees, or all of them only they know and what fun they had making them.
このテーブルのみんなはSnowmen作りですね！
どんなSnowmenが出来上がるのかな？
All these children know their shapes and how to make a snowman, the best time is when they decorate them with sponge paints.
こちらのテーブルでは、TreesとPaper Chansの作成が進行中です。
Pom-Pomで飾りつけていますね。みんな真剣です！
The Christmas trees were the favourite for many children as they could decorate with pon-pons and glitter, and make them so beautiful. But our paper chain was great as well it got longer and longer every minute.
個性的なTreeが出来上がりつつあります！
This tree was always growing and getting longer and longer and when they had finished it was almost as long as the paper chain, great job children.
みんなでSnowmen, Tree そして Paper chains を作りました。
かわいいデコレーションがクリスマス気分を素敵に盛り上げてくれます！
クリスマスは、もうすぐそこですね！!
All the children were so happy with their trees, snowmen and paper chains we put them in the entrance for everyone to see. So parents please look and enjoy all the decorations the children did for you.

Rabbits @高槻茨木校
This tim e, let's look at Rabbits Class art and craft tim e! The idea behind this week's art is to explore the materials freely while working together to make one big project.
Let's start with a pizza slice ready for toppings. What color is it? What shape is it?
We could say, "It's red!" and "It's a triangle!" Let's put the cheese on!
クラフトの様子をお伝えします。今日はみんなでピザつくりに挑戦です。エミリー先生はチーズいーっぱいのピザが大好物だそうです。はたしてどんなピザが出来上がるかな～。
We used white and yellow paint for cheese. Some of us like to paint with our hands!
We can feel the paint and mix the colors with our fingers!
ラビッツクラスのみんなはペイントが大好きです。みんな臆することなく手をつっこみ、感触と色の混ざり具合をたのしんでいます。
We also tried painting with sponges! We had fun exploring the different ways we can use sponges to paint. Those of us who like to stay clean love using sponges!
スポンジも出していたので、スポンジだけを使って、きれいな模様をいれたりもできます。
Now it's tim e to put the toppings on! We started by looking at pictures of pizza, and talking about the shapes and colors of our toppings. We have red pepperoni, pink ham , green peppers, and white cam em bert cheese! We used our fingers to put glue on our toppings and stick them to the pizza. We could make our pizza how ever we wanted, so we were able to practice gluing freely!
最後に赤い○（サラミ）や長方形の色画用紙（お野菜）でトッピングを仕上げれば、美味しそうなピザの完成です。ピザが食べたくなるほどの出来栄えですね！！Ｗｅｌｌ ｄｏｎｅ ｅｖｅｒｙｏｎｅ！！
Finished! Even though we each made our own slice the way we liked, we can put our art together with our friends' to make it even better! This is another way that we can work together. Let's eat!!

Lions @高槻茨木校
The lions class took part in cleaning all the plants from the garden to get ready for planting some winter shrubs.
Lionsクラスでは、園庭の植物の整理と、菜の花プロジェクトに向けての準備をしました。
The children took some gardening materials and started digging in the ground to pull out the weeds.
まずは草取りからです。
If they found any bulbs they replanted them in the pots.
球根を見つけたら、ポットに植え替えます。
It was hard work to fins them, we had to dig really deep in the ground.
深くまで土を掘るのに苦戦中です。頑張って！！
Removing the tomato plants was hard by ourselves.
トマトの苗も植え替えようね。
It was easier when the children worked together.
みんなで力を合わせて頑張ります！
What a great job lions class.
みんなの協力でこんなにきれいになりました。

Dolphins @高槻茨木校
To prepare for Halloween last month, KA Dolphis made Monster Slime!
It was a great activity for them to use their imaginations and get excited for Halloween.
ハロウィンパーティー前に楽しんだアクティビティー、スライム遊びを紹介します。
First, children mixed food coloring with glue, and Housha (Sodium Borate), in a cup.
水をカップに書いたラインまで入れます。
Afterwards, we mixed it for about 5-10 minutes until it became thicker, and more slimy.
そのあと、すべての材料を入れよく混ぜます。
Children had a lot of fun mixing it and taking it out of the cup. We played with it for a while, and the children had so much fun using their imaginations and touching and playing with the Monster Slime.
混ぜているとどんどんネバネバのスライムが出来上がり、魔女のスープやモンスターの血、ゾンビなどとそれぞれ想像を膨らませ、楽しみました。
