Bees ＠千里山田校
We talked a lot about planets and the solar system. We also made our own solar system mobiles! First the kids colored in pictures of all the planets, and then we took paper plates and painted them either purple or blue.
宇宙や天体の仕組みについてお話をしました。自分たちで天体モビールも手作りしました。まず初めに、紙皿を写真のように青や紫の絵具で色塗り。
Then we used glitter to put stars into our universe.
その後、グリッターを使用し、キラキラ輝く星を自分たちの宇宙にのせました！
The kids really took their time and made the plates look amazing!
時間をかけて丁寧に製作した、世界に一つしかないこどもたちの宇宙が完成！
After the plates were finished we poked nine holes into them for the children and they tied their planets to the plates. When they were finished we hung them up in our classroom and all the other teachers have said how amazing they look! We are so proud of how hard our kids worked on these.
宇宙を作り終えた後、９つの穴を円枠に開け、９つの惑星を宇宙と結んで繋げました。１８つの天体モビールが完成し、自分たちの教室の天井に吊り下げ飾りました。他のクラスの先生たちがビーズクラスのこどもたちの天体モビールを見て、「綺麗だね！！」と誉めてくれたよ。一生懸命製作した１８人のこどもたち、よく頑張りました！
July was also our second round of Show & Tell, and it has become a very popular time with the children. We talked about our families this month, learning new words like cousin, aunt, uncle, grandpa and grandma. The children also learned the proper names for their own mom’s and dad’s. We really enjoy Show & Tell time.
７月に、第二回目のShow & Tellがあり、こどもたちは自分で発表するこの時間を、楽しみにするようになりました。今回は、家族について発表し、“Cousin”“aunt”“uncle”“grandpa ”“grandma”等、発表する場を通して、新しい単語を学びました。また、自分のお父さんやお母さんの名前について知る機会にもなりました。楽しいShow & Tell の光景。
We also started pool play this month. The kids really enjoy their time in the pool, and it is a great time to let them really release all their energy.
今月からプール遊びも始まりました。水遊びが大好きなこどもたちは楽しそうに大きな声を上げて遊んでいました。
We also have had a chance to play some structured games with Shota on Mondays and Fridays in the pool, and the games they have learned have stuck with them and they often play them even when he is not there.
毎週月曜日と金曜日のプール日は、しょうた先生と一緒にプール遊びをする機会があり、プールで出来るゲームをしょうた先生から教えてもらいました。しょうた先生がいない日も授業の間に学んだゲームをこどもたちだけで楽しむようになりました。
Summer Festival is just around the corner and we are really looking forward to having a really fun time!
もうすぐ、サマーフェスティバルですね。みんなで一緒にお祭りを盛り上げて行きましょう！

Turtles ＠千里山田校
It has been so hot everyday so Turtles go to the pool to cool down and have fun.
毎日とても暑いので、タートルズはプールでクールダウンして楽しんでいます。
First we take off our socks and put them in our bags.
まず、靴下を脱いでかばんにしまいます。
Then we sit on chairs and take off our pants. Teachers help us with our shirts.
そして、イスに座ってズボンを脱ぎます。シャツは先生がお手伝い...
Then we look for our swimming pants.
それから、自分のスイミングパンツを探して…
We put on our swim suits.
水着を着ます！
Our clothes are neatly kept on the chairs.
洋服は、キチンとイスに置いています。
It's time to make a train.
さあ、電車ごっこをして並んで...
We carefully go down the stairs one by one.
気をつけながら、階段を降ります。
Teachers spray us lightly with the shower.

Butterflies ＠千里山田校

宇宙飛行士のイメージトレイニング！
宇宙飛行士のヘルメットを作って頭に装着、想像力を働かせて、さて出発！
まずは、ヘルメットの強度を水のシャワーで確かめよう！
きゃー冷たい！水は染み込んでこないかな？！
And a little bit of exercise to limber up before the launch.
Koalas were kind enough to join us in watching the launch.
We add a little bit of the secret ingredient to our rocket fuel and then put the rocket in place and we have lift off.
少～し準備運動をしたら、もうすぐロケットの発射時間です。
隣のコアラクラスも一緒に見守ります。
さ～て、ロケットはちゃんと飛んだのかな？！
ダグラス先生、準備中。みんな、見守っています。ロケットはうまく飛ばせるかな？
ダグラス先生、何を入れているの？ロケット発射に必要な物！
