Hinamatsuri craft week
The class started the two day project by painting the back ground plate.
三月三日はお雛祭り。みんなでお雛様を製作しました。紙ざらをペインティングして金屏風に。
Each student was given two pieces of tissue paper and let explore the colours that they could make.
障子紙を使ってのにじみ絵。OH～! と混じり合った綺麗な色と模様にびっくり感動の子ども達。
Smile!! Happy face! とみんなの描いたお雛様はニコニコでした。
After trying the paints the students were very please with the different pattens that they had made.
The children were shown a few times how to fold the paper then they had to do it by themselves unless they asked for help.
Everyone kept on trying by themselves until they could fold the paper clothes on their own.
冠や扇子を貼る位置も、見本を見て確認しながら。指先も少しずつ器用になってきて、細かい作業にも根気よく取り組める様になってきました.
The students were given small objects to decorate the hinamatsuri craft this was to increase their small motor skills.
個性溢れるお雛様の完成！お雛祭りや、芽を出し始めたみんなのチューリップ。春はもうすぐそこですね。

Bears ＠千里山田校
We learned about different animal groups.
We also learned about different kind of dinosaurs and how we know about them.
This week we had a dinosaur fossil dig in the sand box.
The children used diggers and brushes that they made to uncover the bones.
After the bones were uncovered they sketched the various bones that they discovered.
Today the students took the dinosaur bones and put them on display like a museum.

Tigers @千里山田校
In Tigers class we have been teaching the students how to play UNO.
They learned very quickly because UNO is popular in Japan too!
They have learned how to play in English and they are having a blast.
They will gather in small groups and talk together in English.
Playing UNO is a great way to spend time together and practice your speaking!
I encourage any family to play together!
You may try to play in English with your children!
