Koalas 千里山田校
On January 10th the Koalas did a really fun experiment for science.
They wrote secret messages using que tips and lemon juice.
The Koalas had the most fun when they were watching the letters come out as they put their messages in front of the heater.
The Koalas were excited to read what their messages said as well as what their classmates wrote.
今日のサイエンスの時間で、コアラズ達はレモンを使ったシークレットレターを作りました！
レモン汁で紙にメッセージを書きますが、そのままではなんと書いたかわかりません。
しかし、大型ヒーターの近くに行き紙を近づけると・・・。
みんな大喜びで、お互いのメッセージを見せ合っていました。

“Healthy Food and Nutrition”
Our students have been learning about the various foods we eat-both healthy as well as junk food. They had fun trying to classify or sort the healthy from the junk food based on the food name I call out or by the color and description of the food. We also practiced saying phrases such as, “I found it!” and “I did it” after accomplishing their task.
今日はヘルシーフードとジャンクフードについて学びました。「ヘルシーフードは体を強くするんだよ。ジャンクフードは食べ過ぎると歯が痛くなるんだよ」と話しました。すると、子ども達は大好きなアイスクリームやクッキーがジャンクフードだと知り、とても驚いたようでした。
Children learned how to wash their hands nicely. We wash our hands with a song. “Tops and Bottoms, Tops and Bottoms In Between, In BetweenAll around your hands, All around your hands Make them clean, Make them clean”
手についたバイ菌をやっつけるぞ！お外から帰ってきたみんなの手には、目に見えないバイ菌がたくさんいます。指の間もきれいに洗ってバイバイ! バイ菌！！
