Daycare KA/KB 千里丘校
Here is “G.V Sumo wrestling match”Wow! looks strong!!
日も早く落ち、秋も深まってきました。まだまだ外で遊びたい子ども達。
今日はそのパワーを室内に向けてもらいました。
KA/KBクラス“G.V.秋場所”の開催です。
さぁ、個性的な力士たちが登場します！
“Ready Set Go！”のかけ声で、取り組みの始まりです。ドコドコと太鼓をたたく音も激しさを増し・・・。 They are strong wrestlers・・・！！逃げる力士を追う力士、白熱戦です！！
“Oh! Year, I won!!”お見事！勝負あり！！
PCゲームも楽しいけれど、昔ながらの手作りゲームも子ども達には新鮮で楽しかったようです。

Kinder A 千里丘校
In Kinder A, we like to learn about large numbers.
We use number tiles to help us to break the numbers into thousands, hundreds, ten and unit.
The children take turns leading the class.
子ども達も自分自身に自信がついてきたようです。
自分達から積極的にレッスンに取り組む姿が見られます。
First , the teacher shows them how to lay out the tiles. This marks it easier to notice the differences between them. These Montessori materials are colored to help us.
“How much is it?” the class leader asks. Some English speakers use ‘and’ before the tens and units: “Nine thousand, six hundred and ninety eight.”
先生役の子どもは、みんなの注目を受け、内心ドキドキしながらもきちんと責任を果たします。
The children practice the ‘Magic Slide’. It is a fun way to reveal the correct number. Children led activities play a key role in our learning prosess.
このドキドキ感は、子ども達にとって楽しい時間でもあり、与えられた責任を果たすという達成感を味わえるレッスンでもあります。

Saturday School 千里山田校
１２月になりました！
お日様が出ていても、とても寒くなりましたね。
でも、子どもたちは元気いっぱいにお外遊びをしていました！
プリスクールクラスでは、ランチの前に３０分間お外遊びの時間を設けています。
先生とボールで遊んだり、順番にブランコに乗ったり、砂場で遊ぶ子などさまざまですが
毎回みんなとっても楽しそうに遊んでいます。
園庭の隣には、ジムがありBlueクラスがダンスのレッスン中でした。
"I can stretch out like this!"
"I did it!"
先生と一緒にストレッチをしています。
とっても上手にできていたので、一枚パチリ。
プリスクールクラスの子どもたちも、Pinkクラスになればダンスレッスンがあります。
楽しみにしていてくださいね！

Caterpillars 千里山田校
This month we are learning about "Food and Healthy Living", so we talked about how we usually use chopsticks- for eating our food.
今月のテーマは食べ物と健康です。
普段使っているお箸について話し合い、そのお箸を普段とは違う方法で使ってみました！
We practiced opening and breaking apart disposable chopsticks outselves.
使用したのは割り箸ですが、最初に自分で割る事から挑戦しそのお箸をインクに付け転がしたり
トントンと紙に押し当ててみたり・・・。
お箸がクラフトではいろんな方法で使える事を知り、とっても興味津々に取り組んでくれましたよ。
クラフトタイムはもちろん汚れても気にしません！
We talked about what else we could use chopsticks for during craft time painting!
We tried using them in different ways; dipping, rolling, one at a time, together, etc.
We love getting messy during craft time!
