Dolphins 高槻茨木校
KA Dolphins Trip to The Supermarket!
We first began talking about street safety and why it is important to be careful when crossing the street, and keeping close to the sidewalk. Children were doing a great job of walking.
さぁ、待ちに待ったお買い物に出発です！サマーフェスティバルのクラス売り上げから1人100円をポーチに入れ、お友達とペアになり、しっかり列を作って道を歩きます。
We went into groups of 4, and discussed about being a good and polite “customer” in a store, and about touching food. We also talked about how we can put money together with friends, if we want to buy something that is more than 100yen. They were now very excited to go inside and buy some yummy fruit!
スーパーではどのような行動をとればいいのか、もし100円以上の果物が欲しかったらどうすればいいのかを事前に話し合い、いざ買い物へ出かけます！
Children were all given 100yen, and began walking around looking at all the food they wanted to buy. They were very good little customers!
自分は何が買いたいのか考えながら沢山の食べ物を見て歩きました。
Children began choosing which fruit they wanted to buy. And many of them decided to put their money together and buy a large bunch of grapes, some bought bananas and others chose yummy apples!
皆それぞれ自分が欲しい果物を選びます！1人100円ずつ持っていますが、グレープは300円。。。どうすればいいのかな？
『3人集まれば300円集まるー！！』沢山のグレープチームが出来ました！
KA brought their fruit to the cashier, and handed them their money. They took the change and receipt, and said “thank you”.
お会計も自分でします。ポーチから100円をだし、お金を払い、お釣りとレシートを受け取ります。
『ありがとうございます！』
After purchasing our yummy fruit, we carried it back to school, and were so happy to have it and eat it after our lunch!
さぁ自分で買った果物を握りしめて園に戻ってきました。子ども達は皆とても嬉しそうで誇らしげな笑顔をしていました。
mmmmmmmm!!! Our fruit tasted so delicious!! We ate our lunch so quickly so that we could enjoy our newly bought food!
『yummy!!!』自分で買った果物はより一段と美味しく感じたようで、買った果物をお友達とシェアしながら食べる姿も見られました。今回のお買い物体験は子ども達にとってとても意味のある体験になったことだと思います。

Senriyamada Plants Tulips
また、今年も来春を心待ちにしてチューリップを植えました。
この花が咲く頃は、学年がひとつ上がり、年長児は小学生になります。
子どもの成長は早いです。
先生の説明をしっかりと聞いていますね!!
まず、水はけが良くなるように大きな粒の土を入れます。
スクールヘルパーに、たくさんの保護者の方にご参加いただきました。
最後の片づけまで…皆様ご協力有難うございました。

Tigers 千里山田校
Today we opened our activities that we ordered from the Summer Festival profits.
We ordered many science themed activities for the students.
Such as this microscope with slides.
The students enjoy looking at close-ups of plants, insects, animal hairs and feathers.
Here the students are learning about the planets with the Scientific space gallery. The students can press different buttons to learn about the planets and to take a quiz too.
In this activity the students use magnifying glasses to have an up-close look at bugs. There are many types such as wasps, tiger beetles, ants and more.
This activity is called the growing bacteria classroom kit.
The students will put small amounts of a bacteria in a container and then watch it grow.
Here the students are putting together a bug vacuum.
We will use this on our trips to the park to catch many types of bugs.
That's it for the Tigers class Summer Festival profits.

Now the students can focus more closely on science!
