All classes help build the Global garden, from planting seeds to building a new flower bed.

We all help in tending our plants by pulling weeds and watering daily.

We are growing chamomile for tea and canola to make popcorn with.
We also planted, broccoli, asparagus, basil, rosemary, cilantro/coriander, sunflowers, and cosmos.

We made Easter baskets to put our eggs we will dye and hunt this week.

We loved gym and worked up quite a sweat doing circuit training.
  

KA Dolphins put soil on the ground, dug little holes and we all put sunflower seeds in the dirt! We will water them everyday and watch them grow! Dolphins also painted wonderful sunflowers to help us get excited for spring.



  

In April the Rabbits class welcomed 8 new classmates, and now there are 10 students in the class. There are many new things and routines to get used to, but the Rabbits are trying really hard and are settling into school very well ! We have been trying many different activities, and having a lot of fun ! Here are some of the things we have been doing………..

Listening carefully to Suzy about how to plant our chamomile seeds.


We hope that our seeds will grow into lovely flowers !


We tried finger painting on big pieces of paper.


Some children enjoyed it more than others !


The Rabbits and Frogs classes are listening carefully to Shota during gym class.

今月のトピックは春です。


桜の花びらの数をかぞえたり、形容詞を使って表現したりしながら製作をしました。



たんぽぽは、“くるくる”した花と、“まっすぐ”の茎と、“ぎざぎざ”の葉っぱがあるね。

レッスンの締めくくりは、本日のふりかえりです。今日はなにが楽しかったかな？


日本語クラスでは、表現を大切にしています。  

昨日はスクールのイースターパーティでした。
ゲームをしたり、卵に色をつけたり、そしてエッグハンティングをしました。




さて、Green Ideaの紹介です!!
持ち帰りました卵の温室効果を利用して、種を発芽させてみませんか?!


キッチンペーパーやオアシス↑にしっかり給水し卵の底におきます。その上に、ハーブやベビーリーフなどの種を蒔きます。ふたをしっかり締め乾燥を防ぎ、さらに日当りの良い場所に置けば温室の中同然で温度が上昇します。発芽に必要な要素はすべて揃います。
