Bees ＠ 千里山田校
Autumn is here! The sky is blue, the weather is beautiful and it is great time to enjoy outdoors.
In Bees children have started making seasonal decorations.
いよいよ秋になりました！空は青く、気候は良く、アウトドアを楽しむ絶好の季節です。
ビーズクラスでは秋の飾りを作り始めました。
We have made adorable spiders looking out from their spider webs.
クモの巣からぶら下がっている可愛いクモを作りました。
We changed the leaves from green to red on the classroom tree.
クラスの木の葉っぱは緑から赤やオレンジに変えました。
Today we made some extra big acorns!
We need scissors and glue for today's craft.
きょうは大きなどんぐりを作りました。
今日のクラフトではハサミとノリを使いました。
First, everyone took a careful look at the acorns on their table.
まずは机の上のどんぐりを慎重に観察します。
Then we watched and listened to the teacher's demonstration.
We can make a round shaped acorn or a long shaped one..
次は先生のお手本をよく見て説明を聞き、
まんまるなどんぐりと細長いどんぐりを切ります。
Scissors are good for building our fine motor skills.
We need to be careful when we use them.
ハサミを使い指先を使う練習をたくさんします。
ハサミは慎重に使います。
Some children use their left hands and some use their right to hold the scissors.
We cut the bottom then added a hat on top!
右手でハサミを使ったり左手でハサミを使う子もいます。
どんぐりを切って、帽子を付けます。
Aren't these acorns so cute? Fall is here!
可愛いどんぐりが出来上がりました。もう季節はすっかり秋です！

Butterflies ＠ 千里山田校
Last month, we decorated post cards with beautiful flowers as well as special paper we dyed using "Morning Glory" flowers we planted in the spring. to send to our grandparents on "Grandparents Day".
The Butterflies did a wonderful job at writing a special message for them as well!
先月敬老の日におじいちゃん、おばあちゃんに送るポストカードを作りました。みんなで育てたあさがおの花で作った色水で染めた紙をハガキに貼り、押し花を貼りつけ、Happy Grandparents Dayと自分達で書きました。 小さなハガキに字を書いたので難しかったと思いますが、みんながんばりました！
"We are picking seeds from the Morning Glory flowers! Good Morning!"
あさがおの種を取っているよ。 種はこんなふうにできるんだね。
We then placed the Morning Glory flower in a ziplock bag with waterfor the students to squeeze to make dye.
"I'm squeezing it very hard!"
ジップロックにあさがおの花と水を入れてよ～くもむと、きれいな色水ができるよ。みんなで交替でも～みもみしました。
We then dipped special paper into the dye we made.
作った色水に半紙を折ったものを付けて模様を出しました。
The Butterflies used the special paper we dyed as well as pretty flowers to decorate the post card for our parents.
色水で染めた半紙と、押し花でハガキを飾りました。
We each wrote a special message for our grandparents.
"Happy Grandparents Day !! “
ハガキには自分達でHappy Grand Parents Day と書きました
The Butterflies behaved really well in walking to the post office to deliver their letters.
"Are we there yet?"
郵便局まで作ったハガキを出しに行きました。 みんなできれいに並んで歩くようにがんばりました！
We gave postcard to postman !
We tried to be polite and said “ お願いします”.
郵便局員さんに一人ずつはがきを渡しました。 渡すときには「お願いします！」と言いました。
The postman gave each of us a writing pad after we finished sending the post cards.
"Thank you!"
郵便局の局員さんに下敷きをもらいました！ ちゃんとありがとうって言えたかな？

Moon Viewing Cooking @ 千里山田校
We had "Moon viewing cooking" on 3rd Oct.
After the students washed their hands, the teachers explained how to make rounded Odango.
10月3日に全クラスでお月見クッキングを行いました。
しっかり手を洗ったこども達は、先生のお話しを聞きながらどうやって丸く丸めるのかを聞きます。
Look at this Odango made by cute little hands.
小さな手で一生懸命丸めていました。
It looks just like a moon in the sky.
空の月みたいに真ん丸になりましたね。
The kitchen staff boiled Odango for the students. Odango looks so delicious!
出来上がった小さなお団子は、キッチンの方に茹でてもらってこんなにおいしそう！
The students had Odango as dessert at lunch time.
ランチの時間にみんなで頂きました。

Caterpillars ＠ 千里山田校
The Caterpillars are always busy with new and exciting things!
キャタピラーズはいつも楽しいことに囲まれて大忙しです！
In this picture, we are playing a doctor game. You can see one of our friends with a bandage on his head, while another friend is being checked out. The bandage is actually toilet paper!
これは病院ごっこの様子です。
一人ひとりDr.Bethに"My hand hurts."などケガした箇所を伝えて、手当てをしてもらいます。
Our Summer Festival booths were alot of fun! Thanks to our mommies for making this a big success.
大盛況に終わったサマーフェスティバル。たくさんお手伝いを頂きました保護者の皆様、本当にありがとうございました。
With our festival profits, we were able to get some new whiteboard markers for writing practice . We love having fresh new markers! Of course, we'll be getting alot more items for our classroom later on!
収益の一部で、もうインクが出にくくなっていたライティング練習用のマーカーを新調しました！
もちろんマーカーだけではなく、今後も様々なアイテムが届く予定です。とても楽しみなキャタピラーズです。
When Kinder A and B classes went on a field trip, we had a picnic outside. It almost started raining, but luckily the weather held out!
キンダーA,Bが遠足に行っていた日、ナーサリーからPreKの子どもたちは皆で一緒にピクニックを楽しみました！
途中雨が降り出しそうだったのですが、何とか太陽が頑張ってくれ、無事最後まで外でランチを楽しむことが出来ました。
Of course, we also do alot of hard work in class. We recently started the reading program. Here we are, working with our new books.
クラスでは、もちろん難しいことにも挑戦しています！
最近ではリーディングプログラムもはじまり、みな自分の新しい本読みに一生懸命、そして楽しみながら取り組んでいます。

Penguins @ 千里山田校
In Penguins we have begun to get ready for our Winter Show. We started off by making the props.
12月のウィンターショーに向けて少しずつ準備を始めています。今日はみんなで小道具作りです。
After we had made the shapes we wanted we painted them during Craft Time.
先生たちが作っておいた土台に絵具で色を塗っていきます。画用紙以外のものを塗るのは初めてなのでみんなワクワク！
順番がまちきれません。
With our props painted and finished we can spend our time learning our lines!
クラスでは劇に登場する動物になりきって遊ぶ姿も増えてきました。セリフもみんなで楽しみながら覚えていこうね！
